Be curious, like a child!
Every Sunday we (Me, my husband, and our toddler) come back from my parents’ place to ours. It’s a 20+km drive during which our toddler sits on his car seat and treats us like his personal voice assistant by asking us a hundred “why, what, where, who” questions.
Where does the sun go in the evening?
How did clouds reach the sky?
Why do we have nails?
Why do nails keep growing?
Why does my body have hair?
Why do roads have drain holes?
Why should we stop at red signal?
Why is the sky blue in colour?
Where does all the toilet water go?
Can we switch off the rain?
How did beach/river get water?
How did beach get sand?
The police siren sounds like ambulance sound, why?
But till date the best question my son has asked has to be this
“The green signal that shows forward is an up (↑) arrow, why are they asking us to go up amma, how can we go up?” UI designers, I am looking at you!
Raising an inquisitive toddler is rewarding but mostly very tiring!
